Collaborating for a Cleaner Liberia: Emnetus Attend workshop with EPA and MCC

Last month, Emnetus took a major step toward national collaboration in environmental health. CEO Mr. Pius Kumeh Sr. met with representatives of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Monrovia City Corporation (MCC) to discuss shared goals for improving sanitation systems across Liberia.

This important meeting focused on aligning efforts to increase the efficiency of garbage collection, enforce waste regulations, and support local communities with better access to waste disposal services. It also addressed the need for public awareness campaigns to promote environmentally responsible behavior.

“Change can’t happen in isolation,” said Mr. Kumeh. “When government, private companies, and citizens work together, we move from managing waste to solving the waste crisis.”

The outcome? A stronger relationship between Emnetus and national institutions, and a roadmap to push Liberia forward into a cleaner, more organized future.
